Background Check:
- Last thing I ate: A pear
- Final thoughts: West Wing, clothing, driving, and OUAT.
- Activities: Watched the season three finale of OUAT again and cried my eyes out AGAIN and watched another couple episodes of West Wing (season 5 finally!).
Dream Plot:
I guess the perfect way to start off telling this dream would be,
Once upon a time there were two best friends as close as sisters named Elphaba and Glinda who were roomies in a giant pink house. Glinda had a daughter and a GIANT walk in closet probably due to magic like the tents in Harry Potter. Fiyero was never mentioned once in the dream, but that didn't stop Hook and all his pirate loveliness from showing up. Elphaba was in love with Hook, but Hook and Glinda were together. After a period of time, Elphaba has her mixed Defying Gravity and Let It Go moment including a change a hairstyle into a braid. Hook then has his own epiphany and sees that he loves Elphaba and not Glinda.
Cue S. D. C. (Sudden Dream Change)
Instead of dreaming in the land of pop culture references I and a couple of my fellow classmates end up transferred to a random private school. I never heard the name, but I know the mascots were the Martin Lions. Go! Fight! Roar! Anyways it seems the only class we all attended in this new school was math. Talk about a nightmare. Next it's lunch and I'm strolling around the school grounds when a group of young, attractive, and highly immature boys decide to follow me and well act like your stereotypical high school boy. I'm able to lose the dudes when I walk towards the football stadium and join a school pep rally being held. Go! Fight! Roar! There I'm saved by the crowds of students and teachers. Try again boys! Finally, the best part, I caught eyes with a hottie lamottie with a football body and he smiled at me. If only it was real.
Explanation:
Well you could say that my recent pinning of Wicked and OUAT on Pinterest are the main reasons why I had a meshed first part of my dream. I'd say that I can't wait to see Frozen come to Storybrooke. Scott Michael Foster will be quite adorable as Kristoff! Anyways I just need to lay off the pinning for a while and my dreams won't be so fandom filled.
Now the second part is completely confusing to me. I have no idea why I was suddenly in a random private school and why the only class I seemed to have was math. The only connections I see is that I'm remembering my times in elementary school at a local private school and that I absolutely despise math class. I miss my friends from private school and the Fun in The Sun Day and other school wide events, but I don't appreciate my mind choosing math for my school dream of the week. It just creates a nightmare! The boys acting like boys who refuse to grow up is my mind just repeating over and over again that my school is a dry pond when it comes to the guys I'm attracted to. Then again, that football player at the end may change some things if and only if I see him this next year at school. Go, fight, roar!

Dream #1 Time Jumping
Back Story
- Last thing I ate: My mom's homemade salsa and tortilla chips (props to my mum for her delicious salsa. Quite tasty!)
- My last thoughts: West Wing, Air Force One, the sunburn on my face finally peeling.
- What I did that day: Morning run, binged on West Wing, watched a couple episodes of H2O Just Add Water with my little sisters (I love my Australian TV shows), and enjoyed spending time with the family by watching Air Force One.
Basic Dream Plot
Okay so for starters the main cast of this dream included random classmates and friends from school and then a couple of random people who resembled the actors you'd see in action and adventure movies today. Plus, the group can time travel so it makes the dream like ten times more exciting.
Now, the dream began with the main group (a girl, young women, and young man) deciding on their fate since the very world they're in is about to be destroyed through man made power. In other words, someone is going to blow up a place to make way for their own plans of expansion. Anyways, the girl decided to time jump and ends up in the future. The other two follow and find themselves in a city made of gold. The cobble streets are encrusted with gold and the skyscrapers shine like a golden Emerald City.
Immediately the group is targeted by security and are chased through multiple large stores. They try to exit through the main door that looks like the entrance to a Vegas casino (all lit up with bright bulbs and gold emblems), but it is blocked by multiple security guards. The girl then leads them up a nearby ramp to another level where another guard in a yellow jacket is waiting. Suddenly, another time jumper (who looks extremely like my friend Andrew) slides down the ramp like he's in a Mission Impossible or James Bond film. He joins the group as they race out of the store.
From there my dream shifted to the group going to eat at Fafia's Pizzaria the was owned by none other than Joey from F. R. I. E. N. D. S. . It began to turn into one of my strange and constantly shifting dreams that no one can understand after that. First a pizza place owned by a TV show character, then a hot chocolate bar. Yes. A HOT CHOCOLATE BAR. It was actually very cute and winter like inside. Heck, I wish I could be having a cup of hot chocolate there now.
Anyways, there's the first dream. It wasn't as strange as the Joe Jonas one, but it was very movie like!
Explanation
This dream is actually pretty simple to explain. I've never seen Doctor Who, but when I told Tina about this exciting dream all she could talk about was Doctor Who and time travel! I guess my subconscious is telling me that I need to watch Doctor Who this summer. The time jumpers portion is my own personal idea for a future film or book. Hopeful future filmmaker here! Andrew popping up randomly in the dream is just my mind saying that you've hung out with him recently and he's been brought up in conversations with your friend recently as well. Then again, my mind is probably just reminding me about my thoughts towards Andrew. Andrew is my friend and I just worry about him and said other friend because of what may happen in the future. She has a view on high school relationships and who would be the perfect match for the perfect last high school boy friend before senior year is up. She's very confident with herself and so I worry about Andrew because I don't want him to get hurt or anything. Finally, Joey popping up is really random, but then not really since I've been thinking about watching F. R. I. E. N. D. S. ever since we've acquired the majority of the seasons. Only two more seasons left to find and then I can watch the show fully!
So there's the first study. It definitely was a new experience since I've never really thought about my dreams before. Good times ahead!

And now I'm craving hot chocolate in the middle of July. Thank you, Dreams!

It All Starts With A Dream
It all starts with a dream. Our goals, our hopes, our adventures. They all begin with dreams. Dreams can be small or large, crazy or timid, sad or hopeful, but all dreams gives us the opportunity to see what our subconscious thinks of the world.
The definition of a dream is:
Noun:
1. a series of thoughts, images, and sensations occurring in a person's mind during sleep.
Verb:
1. To experience dreams during sleep.
2. Contemplate the possibility of doing something or that something might be the case.
So, in plain text, a dream is just your thoughts of the day playing through your head as you sleep into tomorrow. Seems pretty self exclamatory to me, but how do you explain everything that happens? Am I the only one that thinks that understanding dreams is confusing? Or am I the only one with the weird and crazy dreams that are inexplicable?
For example, around the time when I was whole heartedly in love with the Jonas Brothers I had the craziest dream that is still so vivid to me. Basically, I was in a beach town with my family enjoying the activity of picking shells off a roof of a beach house with the JoBros when Joe Jonas decides to push me off the roof. Luckily, I was harnessed to the roof, but I still fell to the street where a car nearly hit me. Cue Missions Impossible styled spy roll to the safe sidewalk. Okay....so Joe Jonas pushed me off a roof. No big deal. It was just a dream. There's nothing wrong here other than WHY THE HECK DID JOE JONAS PUSH ME OFF A ROOF? What is my mind telling me!?
Hopefully, now, you see where I'm coming from when I question the idea of studying dreams and truly understanding them. I'd probably get a very detailed and scientific explanation for my dream meaning from a psychic, dream doctor, or dream analyser for a good price, but can they truly explain my own mind to me? Can anyone explain why a boy band singer would push one of his biggest fans off a roof? I didn't think so.
So, with the help of my best friend, Tina, I shall blog about my weird dreams and study them. I'll include the usual dream study components such as my last meal of the day, my last thoughts, what I did that day, etc.. Tina will actually illustrate some of the dreams to add artistry and a better picture to the whole ordeal! We hope this will be as enlightening for you readers and fellow bloggers out there as it will be for us!
Dream Study:
- A dream will be posted every week with all the needed components.
- Illustrations will be posted along with the dream postings.
- This study will run until my dreams finally begin to make sense to me.
Remember guys!
